Welcome!

WE ARE the Santa Barbara Macintosh Users Group (SBMUG) and our purpose is to inform, educate, and bring together Macintosh enthusiasts of all ages in a fun and exciting forum. We welcome all computer users, beginners to advanced, including users of Windows, Linux, and other systems as well.
SBMUG provides a way for us to assist those new to the Macintosh, advance the art of computing, provide feedback to hardware and software developers, and cooperate with other Users Group organizations on matters of mutual concern.
Our monthly general meetings are open to the public. These meetings feature question-and-answer help sessions; presentations by computer product developers and members of the local Macintosh community; and drawings, open to SBMUG members, for software, books and other treats! See our Calendar page for meeting schedules, program details, and directions.
We also have Special Interest Groups for Beginners and for popular software programs, as well as the occasional workshop and special class announcements. Please see our Special Interest Group page for the latest information.

We encourage those interested in supporting our efforts to join. Membership in SBMUG costs only $25 a year, and includes admission to our members-only Special Interest Groups. You can become a member at a meeting, by printing and mailing in our membership form or via PayPal. Please visit the membership page.

We hope to see you soon!
